Snap is making a big bet on AR shopping.

The parent company of Snapchat has bought Vertebrae, a company that lets brands create and manage 3D versions of their goods. Vertebrae’s 50-person team will keep developing the platform for existing and new clients, according to a Snap spokesperson. The idea is that a company can easily upload visuals and other information about an item into Vertebrae and have a 3D version made for shoppers to access, and potentially buy directly, within Snapchat.

Designer Phoebe Philo announced her return to fashion after a three-year break, following her exit from fashion house Celine back in 2017. The designer joined the label back in 2008 and made a tremendous impact not only on the brand but on the fashion industry as a whole. Philo will be returning with her own eponymous label, backed by the world’s largest multinational corporation, LVMH. Artist sells homemade buffalo bone jewelry in Pottawatomie County

For 28 years, Bird Mountain has carved and sold jewelry made out of buffalo bone at local pow wows and festivals.

For over two decades, Bird Mountain, an artist and Native American, has been making jewelry out of buffalo bone and selling it.

According to Mountain, ever since she was young, she’s been an artist and now she makes various forms of jewelry including earrings, necklaces and bracelets.

“I’m a bone carver and I started about 28 years and I go get buffalo bone and I carve out designs and use different stones,” Mountain said. “It’s unique.”
