According to People, Simons’s granddaughter and founder of Saie, Laney Crowell, brought her on as the new face of the brand, and the idea came directly from her Instagram followers.

“I actually was very strategic about it,” says Crowell. “I enlisted my dad, my aunts, my cousins, my cousin’s significant others, my husband, I think I even had my daughters—Nanna’s great-grandchildren—try to convince her.”

Designer Phoebe Philo Returns to Fashion With Her Own Brand

Designer Phoebe Philo announced her return to fashion after a three-year break, following her exit from fashion house Celine back in 2017. The designer joined the label back in 2008 and made a tremendous impact not only on the brand but on the fashion industry as a whole. Philo will be returning with her own eponymous label, backed by the world’s largest multinational corporation, LVMH. Kristen Bell’s CBD brand Happy Dance moves into skin care

“Gossip Girl” isn’t the only big launch for Kristen Bell this month. Following its initial launch with body care, the actress’ CBD brand Happy Dance is entering the facial skin-care category with a new moisturizer. 

On July 13, the moisturizer will be available for $29 via DTC e-commerce and the brand’s exclusive retail partner, Ulta, where it is a part of Ulta’s Sparked program for startups. Called “Look Alive,” the new face product contains 150 milligrams of full-spectrum CBD, as well as bisabolol, hyaluronic acid and avocado oil.
