Owners of Wethersfield jewelry store victims of home invasion | Connecticut News

ELLINGTON, CT (WFSB) – Authorities are looking for the men wanted in connection with a home invasion.

State Police say troopers had responded to a home in the town of Ellington just before 4 a.m. on Saturday after receiving a call from the occupants.

According to investigators, a gun was displayed. Jewelry and cash were taken from the home.

None of the occupants were injured.

State Police said the residents of the home own and run a jewelry store in Wethersfield.

Customs officers seize counterfeit jewelry that if genuine would have been worth $5.2 million

On August 16, officers in Cincinnati, Ohio, found 450 fake Cartier Love bracelets and rings in a shipment from China traveling to a residence in Aventura, Florida. Two days later, they found 50 counterfeit Cartier bracelets from Hong Kong that were headed to Brandon, Mississippi.

Both shipments contained other jewelry that was not deemed counterfeit by the agency’s trade experts.
